We choose primarily animal-based oils because they are naturally compatible with human skin, rich in bioavailable nutrients, and deeply nourishing with vitamins A, D, E, and K. By using ingredients like 100% grassfed beef tallow, emu oil, camel hump fat, beeswax, and lanolin, we are one of the only skincare companies that avoid diluted plant-based fillers such as olive oil, coconut oil, and jojoba oil.
